Solomon Kings Thump Hapless Bula FC
SPORTS

Solomon Kings FC secured a 2–0 victory over Fiji’s Bula FC in Round 3 of the 2026 OFC Pro League played in Melbourne on Saturday.
The Solomon Islands side opened the scoring in the 19th minute through Lofthouse, giving Kings an early advantage in the match.
The Kings looked sharper in attack and more composed in the final third, though they missed a plethora of chances.
Bula FC, on the other hand, lacked structure, often resorting to hopeful long balls and committing numerous fouls and looked nothing like a professional team.
Despite introducing 38-year-old striker and captain Roy Krishna around the 60th minute, he had little impact and spent much of his time disputing calls with the referee and got a yellow card.
He even continued to argue with the referee after the final whistle.
So far, the marquee signing has not lived up to the hype created pre-tournament.
In the end, Solomon Kings' goals—courtesy of Lofthouse in the 19th minute and a Higashide penalty in the 76th—sealed a comfortable win.
The result sees Solomon Kings take the three points while Bula FC add yet another loss to an already horrendous season.
