Employees of Sun Insurance Company Limited are set to benefit directly from the company’s strong performance, following the announcement of a $160,000 dividend payout to staff.

The announcement was made during the company’s Annual General Meeting, marking what Chairman Padam Lala described as a first-of-its-kind initiative in Fiji.

Mr Lala said the move reflects an innovative approach to recognising the contribution of employees, allowing them to share in the company’s financial success.

The payout, made to Sun Employee Pte Limited, represents a collective benefit for employees and highlights the company’s more inclusive corporate practices within the local insurance sector.
