Suri Takes Charge of Lautoka FC Ahead of 2026 Extra BOG

Former Solomon Islands international Batram Suri has been appointed Head Coach of Lautoka FC ahead of the 2026 Extra Battle of the Giants.

Suri brings considerable playing and coaching experience to the Blues, having represented the Solomon Islands at international level during his playing career.

He is also familiar with Fijian football, having previously featured for Nadi FC.

Following his playing career, Suri moved into coaching and has worked with Solomon Islands age-group national teams as well as clubs including Ifira Black Bird and Galaxy FC.

Most recently, he guided Vanuatu side Galaxy FC at the 2026 OFC Men's Champions League in Fiji.

Suri will now turn his attention to Lautoka's Extra BOG campaign as the Blues step up preparations for one of the biggest tournaments on the domestic football calendar.

The 2026 Extra Battle of the Giants kicks off next week at the Four R Stadium at Govind Park in Ba.
