Suspect Arrested Within Hours of Temple Burglary in Nasinu

Police have arrested a man in his 30s in connection with a burglary at the Gurdwara Guru Ravidass Temple in Nasinu on Saturday night.

According to police, a report was received over the weekend regarding a break-in at the temple, during which a gas cylinder, burners, catering equipment, and various other items were stolen.

The Valelevu Crime Operations team acted swiftly upon receiving the report, gathering information and following leads that led to the suspect’s arrest within the Valelevu area. The alleged stolen items have since been recovered.

The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue.
