Tavua Health Office Conducts Restaurant Grading to Ensure Food Safety

The Tavua Health Office Food Unit continues to uphold food safety standards through its ongoing restaurant grading initiative.
As part of this effort, inspections were carried out last week at Tigers Tavua to assess compliance with the Food Safety Act and Food Safety Regulations.
These inspections aim to ensure that restaurants maintain high hygiene and food handling standards, prioritizing consumer health.
The Ministry of Health & Medical Services emphasized that food safety plays a crucial role in achieving its vision of a healthier population.
