The Tertiary Scholarship Loan Scheme (TELS) has officially launched online registration for the highly anticipated Fiji Government Scholarships.

This new phase, which began on December 2, 2024, aims to streamline the application process for students seeking financial assistance.

To apply, interested students must first create an account on the TELS online portal.

Once registered, applicants will be required to provide essential personal details, select their desired study program, and choose their preferred tertiary institution.

Additionally, applicants need to upload crucial documents, such as their bank account or mobile wallet information, the highest level of education completed, and income details, when applicable, for the relevant scholarship schemes.

Year 13 students, in particular, are urged to register as soon as possible and ensure all required information is submitted.

It is vital for these students to upload their final examination results promptly once they are released, along with the study offer letter from their chosen tertiary institution.

Once an application is submitted, it moves to the processing stage, where it will be assessed based on the eligibility criteria for each scholarship scheme.

Students will be notified via email once processing is complete. This stage will begin after the official release of Year 13 results.

The TELS program continues to offer a valuable opportunity for students across Fiji to pursue higher education, contributing to the nation's brighter future.

Students are encouraged to take full advantage of this initiative and submit their applications before the deadline to ensure they don’t miss out on this essential support.
