Honourable Maciu Nalumisa, Fiji’s Minister for Local Government, opened the event, commending both the Government of China and the talented photographers whose work brought Jiangxi Province’s vibrant culture and natural beauty to life.

“Fiji and China remain steadfast friends who have supported each other through many decades, and next year, we proudly celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations,” the Minister said.

The exhibition featured a range of captivating photography from Jiangxi Province, depicting its diverse natural landscapes, thriving cities, and unique wildlife. This visual journey through Jiangxi introduced visitors to the province's major cities, like Nanchang and Jiujiang, as well as scenic areas extending from the Yangtze River in the north to the rolling hills in the south.

As an inland province in eastern China, Jiangxi shares borders with six other provinces, including Anhui, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan, and Hubei, highlighting its cultural and geographical significance within China. The exhibition aimed not only to showcase Jiangxi’s unique charm but also to reinforce the deep ties that unite Fiji and China.
