Three Men to Appear in Court Over Alleged Nabua Taxi Robbery

Three men accused of robbing a taxi driver in Nabua are expected to appear before the Suva Magistrates Court today for a bail application.

The alleged incident occurred along Sukanaivalu Road, Nabua, on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Police allege that the three men hired the victim’s taxi from Narere to Nabua. Upon reaching their destination, they allegedly stole the taxi driver’s watch and cash.

The suspects were arrested shortly after the alleged incident by officers from the Southern Division Task Force.

The three men have been jointly charged with one count of aggravated robbery and one count of serious assault.

They appeared before the Suva Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 16, and were remanded until today for their bail application.
