Two Charged Over Aggravated Robbery Caught on Dashcam

Two people have been arrested and charged in relation to an aggravated robbery incident along Butt Street in Suva, which was captured on dashcam video and widely shared on social media.

The incident occurred on the night of June 15, 2025. Following the circulation of the video online and CCTV footage provided by nearby businesses, the victim was identified, and an official police report was lodged on June 20.

Totogo Police, with assistance from the public and local businesses, arrested a 22-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman. The two have been jointly charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

They are expected to appear at the Suva Magistrates Court today.

Investigations remain ongoing as police continue efforts to identify and apprehend others involved in the robbery.
