Two Charged Over Aggravated Robbery of Government Officials in Vusasivo

Two men have been charged in connection with last week’s aggravated robbery in Vusasivo, Cakaudrove, where government officials were reportedly assaulted and robbed while carrying out official duties.

The suspects, aged 25 and 44, remain in police custody and are expected to appear at the Savusavu Magistrates Court on Monday, 17 November 2025.

Police say a search is ongoing for a third suspect believed to be involved in the attack, as investigations continue.
