Two men seen intimidating a bus attendant at the Nadi Bus Station in a video circulating on social media have been arrested by police.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Operations Livai Driu confirmed that the men were taken into custody this morning for causing a public nuisance.

ACP Driu highlighted that these individuals are known for disturbing bus journeys by harassing drivers and passengers, creating a stressful and unsafe environment.

“Their behavior puts everyone at risk and makes public transport uncomfortable for passengers and drivers,” said ACP Driu.

He urged Public Service Vehicle (PSV) drivers to report any similar incidents immediately by stopping at the nearest police station, community post, or checkpoint.

ACP Driu also reminded the public to look out for one another to ensure a safe and peaceful Christmas season.
