Two men have been taken into police custody following their alleged involvement in a sacrilege case reported in Rakiraki earlier this month.
Officers from the Rakiraki Criminal Investigations Department conducted a raid at Rewasa, which led to the arrest of the suspects. During the operation, police also recovered sound equipment believed to have been stolen from the temple at the centre of the investigation.
Authorities have confirmed that the two men remain in custody as investigations into the matter continue.
