Two On Life Support After Zamzam Restaurant Explosion, Nine Hospitalised

At least nine people have been admitted to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital following the suspected gas explosion at Zamzam Restaurant in Samabula this afternoon, with sources at CWM telling us that at least two of the victims are currently on life support.

Sources within the hospital say emergency teams have been working around the clock treating multiple patients suffering from serious burns, smoke inhalation, and other trauma-related injuries following the blast.

The incident, which has sent shockwaves through the capital, reportedly occurred at the popular Samabula restaurant earlier today, prompting a major emergency response from police, firefighters, and medical personnel.

A police presence remains at the scene as investigators work to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
