Two students, aged 15 and 16, were allegedly found in possession of dried leaves believed to be marijuana at a school in Raiwaqa yesterday.

Police confirm that the students have been questioned and released.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Mr. Livai Driu, stated that policing efforts to seize both white and green drugs are gaining momentum as we approach the busy festive season.

In a separate joint raid conducted by the Southern Division Task Force in Raiwaqa, five people, including a suspect in a robbery, were taken into custody after large parcels of dried leaves, branches, and seeds, all believed to be marijuana, were discovered.

Mr. Driu emphasized that officers are acting on information provided by community members and intelligence gathered regarding individuals involved in drug-related activities.
