US and Israel Bomb Iran

Explosions rocked Iran’s capital, Tehran, after the United States and Israel launched a series of coordinated airstrikes on Saturday, dramatically escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Reports indicate that fighter jets targeted sites linked to Iran’s military and security infrastructure in what Israeli officials described as a pre-emptive operation aimed at countering threats from Iran’s nuclear and missile programmes.
Smoke was seen rising from parts of Tehran following the strikes, while Iranian authorities moved key leaders to secure locations and shut down parts of the country’s airspace as security forces responded to the attack.
The operation was reportedly carried out with coordination between Israeli and American forces, marking one of the most significant military escalations between the countries and Iran in recent years.
Israel has since declared a state of emergency and warned its citizens to prepare for possible retaliation, including missile or drone attacks from Iran or allied groups across the region.
The strikes come after weeks of rising tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear programme and the presence of large numbers of U.S. military assets in the Middle East.
Iran has previously warned that any direct attack on its territory would trigger retaliation against American and allied interests in the region.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the full extent of damage or casualties from the strikes, and the situation remains fluid as the world watches for Iran’s response.
The attack has raised fears of a wider regional conflict that could draw in multiple countries across the Middle East.
