Vosarogo Pays Tribute to his Kaivata

Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Filimoni Vosarogo says the passing of his Cabinet colleague, the late Agni Deo Singh, came as a great shock and is something he is still coming to terms with.

Paying tribute to Singh, Vosarogo described him as his “kaivata from the North” and a man with an incredible personality who brought life and humour wherever he went.

“There was never a dull moment when Agni was around,” Vosarogo said.

He said the many tributes that have poured in following Singh’s passing reflected the impact the late Minister had on people and communities across Fiji.

Vosarogo echoed Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka’s description of Singh as a “true son of Fiji” who lived a life dedicated to serving others.

He said he would particularly miss Singh’s humour, friendship and the many conversations they shared.

Vosarogo also extended his condolences and prayers to Singh’s family and loved ones.

“Rest well, Honourable Minister. Until we meet again,” he said.
