WAF Warns of Potential Water Disruptions Due to Heavy Rain

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has alerted customers in areas served by the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to prepare for possible water supply disruptions due to heavy rainfall.

The rain is expected to affect water quality in source streams, leading to reduced production at the plant.

Customers in the following areas may be impacted:

Namadi Heights: Mika Drue Place, Pathik Crescent

Bayview Heights: Mead Road, Volavola Road, Evetts Place, Sawau Road, Yohann Place, Joyce Perks Street

Sakoca: Lakha Singh Road, Sakoca Road, Raikiwai Road, Nagatugatu Road

Tacirua: Tacirua Road, Raibevu Road, Tacirua Heights

Tamavua: MH Superfresh, Upper Mead Road, Princes Road, Tamavua Koro, Upper Samabula

Dokanaisuva: Princes Road, Savutalele Settlement, Karta Sen Feeder Road

Coloisuva: Princes Road, Vunikawai Road, Naisogo Road, Raintree Lodge

Lami: Upper Delanivesi Areas, Lami Village Road, Matata, Kalekana Settlement Road

WAF urges customers to store water for essential needs and limit non-essential usage.

WAF is monitoring the situation and will restore full service once conditions improve.
