Thousands of people in Labasa are facing water disruptions caused by a suspected burst main along the Navau and Nasealevu raw pipeline.

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) reports that work has been halted due to flooding at the Dogoru and Nasaqa crossings. Inspections will resume once floodwaters recede to ensure staff safety and efficient repairs.

WAF engineers will assess the damage and inform the public about the repair timeline.

In the meantime, water carting trucks are on standby to assist affected communities.
