World Human Rights Day Marks the End of 16 Days of Activism Against Discrimination

Today, December 10th, marks World Human Rights Day and the conclusion of the 16 Days of Activism for the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and Girls, running from November 25th to December 10th.
This day serves as a call to continue efforts to eliminate gender-based discrimination and violence globally.
Honorable Lynda Tabuya, the Minister for Women, Children, and Social Protection, is waiting at the Suva Bowling Club, where participants of the march will end their journey.
The march begins at the Flea Market and is a powerful display of solidarity, with people from various sectors coming together to advocate for women's and girls' rights and gender equality.
The 16 Days of Activism campaign highlights the importance of addressing gender-based violence and discrimination, and today's events mark the ongoing commitment to ensuring the protection and empowerment of women and girls worldwide.
