Young Man Dies in Kalokolevu Road Accident

A man in his 20s has been confirmed as the country’s latest road fatality following a car accident near Kalokolevu Village.

According to police, the victim was driving when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road and crashed. He and two passengers were rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital (CWM), where he later died from his injuries.

The two passengers remain admitted in stable condition.

Police investigations continue.

The national road death toll now stands at 23, matching the figure for the same period last year.
