The Pacific Islands Students Fighting Climate Change (PISFCC) is leading a groundbreaking global effort to push for climate accountability and action.

From December 2–13, 2024, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) is hosting oral hearings on the Advisory Opinion for climate justice (#ClimateICJAO).

This pivotal event seeks to address the climate crisis and hold major polluters responsible.

Key leaders like Cynthia Houniuhi and Vishal Prasad have delivered impactful statements emphasizing the importance of intergenerational equity, youth empowerment in decision-making, and the urgent need to curb greenhouse gas emissions.

Alongside the hearings, the Climate Justice Gathering brings together diverse voices, highlights Indigenous knowledge, and fosters collaboration, amplifying the Pacific’s call for a sustainable and just future.
