GX Foundation Supplies Arrive to Strengthen Fiji’s Dengue Response

Fiji’s dengue prevention and response efforts have received a boost following the arrival of two containers of essential supplies donated by the GX Foundation from Hong Kong.

The shipment includes insect light traps, sticky pads, bed nets and dengue rapid test kits.

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services says the supplies will be dispatched to each division next week and distributed to subdivisions and identified health and municipal facilities.

Distribution will be based on quantities requested by Divisional Health Inspectors, with the Fiji Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Services confirming the dispatch arrangements.

The Ministry has thanked the GX Foundation and FPBS for their support in strengthening Fiji’s ongoing dengue prevention and control efforts.
