Women Appointed to Key Valuation Roles at Lands Ministry

Two experienced women professionals have been appointed to senior acting positions within the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources’ Valuation Division.

Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Filimoni Vosarogo formally congratulated Meredani Tuitubou, who is serving as Acting Chief Valuer, and Bhawana Singh, who has been appointed Acting Principal Valuer.

Both are registered valuers with extensive experience in the Ministry and have developed strong technical expertise through their years of service in the valuation sector.

During a meeting with the officers, attended by Director Lands Josefa Vuniamatana, Vosarogo acknowledged their contribution to the Ministry and encouraged them as they take on greater responsibilities.

The Minister said the appointments were a positive indication of women increasingly taking up senior positions within the Ministry and wider Public Service.

He expressed confidence in their ability to meet the expectations of the Ministry’s leadership while continuing to strengthen government valuation services.

The appointments also highlight the growing contribution of experienced women professionals to leadership and decision-making within Fiji’s public sector.
