2026 Agricultural Show Showcases Vanua Levu’s Agricultural Strength

The 2026 Agricultural Show in the Northern Division has showcased the diversity and potential of Vanua Levu’s agricultural sector and its contribution to Fiji’s overall development.

The three-day event brought together farmers, communities, organisations and key stakeholders to display agricultural products, share knowledge and highlight opportunities within the sector.

Staff from the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources’ Divisional Lands Office Northern (DLON) also participated in the event, engaging with members of the public and providing information on land-related services.

The show provided an important platform for communities and farmers to highlight their contribution to the Northern Division’s economy while showcasing the opportunities available through agriculture.

For the Ministry, the event also strengthened engagement with communities and allowed staff to explain the work and services provided by the Divisional Lands Office Northern.

The 2026 Agricultural Show highlighted the important role agriculture continues to play in the livelihoods of communities across Vanua Levu.

It also provided an opportunity to recognise the farmers, organisations and stakeholders contributing to the continued growth and development of Fiji’s agricultural sector.
