Pacific Police Strengthen Regional Cooperation at Samoa Forum

Police media representatives from Fiji and other Pacific nations have gathered in Apia for the Pacific Community for Law Enforcement Cooperation (PCLEC) National Coordinators Forum.

The gathering brings together media representatives from the Fiji Police Force, Samoa Police, Prisons and Corrections Services, Tonga Police and Vanuatu Police Force.

The forum provides an opportunity for participating law enforcement agencies to strengthen regional cooperation, share experiences and improve communication across the Pacific.

Police media representatives are also working together to cover the regional forum and highlight the work being carried out through Pacific law enforcement partnerships.

The gathering reflects ongoing efforts by Pacific police forces to strengthen collaboration and build stronger professional networks across the region.

The initiative is supported by the Australian Federal Police in the Pacific, which continues to provide assistance and deployment opportunities to Pacific law enforcement agencies.

The forum is expected to further strengthen cooperation and communication among police forces across the Pacific.
