Dogs Join Fiji Cancer Society’s Pink Walk

Shelter dogs, volunteers and pet owners joined the Fiji Cancer Society’s annual Pink 5KM Walk in Suva, despite overcast weather.

The event brought together members of the community to raise awareness and show support for cancer survivors and those currently undergoing treatment.

The participating dogs added a special touch to the event, with many dressed in creative pink outfits in keeping with the theme.

Prizes were also sponsored for the Best Dressed Doggies, recognising the effort and creativity of participating pet owners.

Organisers said the event was an opportunity to promote cancer awareness while bringing the community together in support of an important cause.
