Fiji Police Honour Fallen Officers on Remembrance Day

The Fiji Police Force has honoured fallen officers and retired members who passed away during the past year during Police Remembrance Day 2026.

Commemorative services were held at Nasova Police Grounds, Lautoka Police Station and Labasa Police Station, with police officers, disciplined forces, law enforcement partners, retired officers and families in attendance.

At the Lautoka ceremony, Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations Meli Sateki paid tribute to eight fallen officers, including the late Police Constable Peniasi Racagi.

The families of fallen officers were also acknowledged for the sacrifices they made in supporting their loved ones during their service.

A total of 38 police officers were remembered this year, along with two K9 officers, Rugga and Tua.

The ceremonies recognised the courage, dedication and sacrifice of those who served to protect Fiji and its communities.
