Parliament Mourns Death of Assistant Agriculture Minister Inosi Kuridrani

Parliament has paid tribute to Assistant Minister for Agriculture Inosi Kuridrani, who has died following a short illness.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka announced Kuridrani’s death in Parliament, saying he had received the news from the late MP’s family.

Rabuka conveyed his condolences to Kuridrani’s immediate family and offered his thoughts and prayers as they mourned his passing.

Members of Parliament observed a minute of silence in his honour, recognising his contribution and service to the country.

Speaker of Parliament Filimone Jitoko said a more formal tribute would be held at a later date.

Kuridrani entered Parliament on July 14, 2025, after being sworn in to fill the vacancy created by the death of former MP Vatimi Rayalu.
