Rabuka Pays Tribute to Late Assistant Minister Kuridrani
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has paid tribute to the late Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry, Inosi Turaga Kuridrani, remembering him as a humble, caring and honest leader who earned the respect of those he served and worked alongside.
Rabuka delivered the Government’s eulogy during Kuridrani’s funeral service at his home village of Namatakula in Nadroga on Saturday.
He said Kuridrani’s humility and caring nature were evident throughout his career and in every organisation he served.
“He was a humble man. In every organisation where he worked, he was described as a humble and caring person,” Rabuka said.
The Prime Minister said Kuridrani was also known for his honesty and the respect he showed towards his colleagues and the people he served.
Rabuka acknowledged Kuridrani’s contribution to public service and conveyed his condolences to his family, relatives, friends and the people of Namatakula.
Kuridrani, who was serving as Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry, passed away on September 27 following a short illness.
Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament, senior government officials, colleagues, relatives and members of the community attended the funeral service to pay their final respects.
