Two Teenage Girls Found Dead in Korovou River
The bodies of two teenage girls have been recovered from a river at Deepwater Settlement, Korovou, following a search operation by police.
The girls, aged 18 and 15, were reported missing after they failed to return from diving for freshwater mussels on Friday, September 25, 2026.
Divers from the Fiji Police Mobile Force recovered the bodies from the river.
Police said post-mortem examinations will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
