Fiji Police Officers Honour Fallen Colleagues in Samoa

Two Fiji Police officers serving at the Pacific Transnational Crime Coordination Centre (PTCCC) in Samoa joined Samoan and regional law enforcement personnel for Police Remembrance Day.

Inspector Sekove Vuniwaqa and Corporal Viliame Saqaibau represented Fiji at the commemoration, honouring officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The PTCCC, established in 2004, is the operational hub of the Pacific Transnational Crime Network, supporting regional law enforcement through information sharing and alerts on suspicious vessel movements, drug seizures and illicit financial activities.

Inspector Vuniwaqa is currently serving a one-year secondment as Team Leader at the centre.
