Employment Ministry Takes Services to Communities Across Fiji with 2026 Roadshow
The Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations will take its services directly to communities across Fiji through its 2026 Annual Roadshow and Talanoa, beginning Monday, 26 October in Sigatoka.
The initiative will provide workers, employers and members of the public with an opportunity to engage directly with Ministry officials, raise employment concerns and better understand their rights and responsibilities in the workplace.
Permanent Secretary for Employment Maritino Nemani has encouraged Fijians to take advantage of the roadshows to learn more about their employment rights, workplace safety, job opportunities and the services available through the National Employment Centre (NEC).
Mr Nemani said the roadshows provide an important opportunity for Fijians to ask questions, raise concerns and engage directly with Ministry officials on matters affecting their working lives.
The programme will cover employment relations, workplace health and safety, workers’ rights, employer obligations and employment support services.
The roadshow will begin in Sigatoka on 26 October, followed by Nadi on 27 October, Lautoka on 28 October and Ba on 29 October.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend, share their views and learn more about the programmes and services available to them.
