NFP Mourns Passing of Employment Minister Agni Deo Singh

The National Federation Party has announced the passing of Minister for Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations and Member of Parliament Agni Deo Singh.

NFP Leader Professor Biman Prasad, in a statement, expressed deep sorrow over Singh’s passing, describing him as a devoted colleague and distinguished servant of working people.

“The National Federation Party mourns the loss of a devoted colleague, a distinguished servant of working people, and a man whose life was given to education, trade unionism and public service,” Prasad said.

He said the party’s thoughts and prayers were with Singh’s family and loved ones during what he described as a time of profound grief.

Prasad said the NFP would mark Singh’s passing with the dignity and respect befitting his years of service to Fiji.

“May his soul rest in eternal peace,” he said.

Singh served as Minister for Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations and was a Member of Parliament. Before entering Parliament, he had a long history in education and the trade union movement.
